my toxic trait is that i genuinely think those cringey annoying fan made "abridged" anime series have some of the best writing. sorry
#are a lot of the jokes painful? yes.#is some of the writing from 2010-2015 eye wateringly bad? yes.#and somehow. they still fucking pull off clear narratives that are concise and witty and emotionally moving#and rival the original#this is about hellsing ultimate abridged but im willing to extend it to most big abridged series#sorry i have the sense of humour of a 14 year old boy. as if thats my fault#episodes 8/9/10 of hellsing ult abridged are especially good. to me#episodes 1 and 2 are . painful to watch these days but u know what. its a product of its time and im willing to defend it. mostly#unfortunately it is always morally correct to belittle the catholic church
